February Elections - a poem
Elections are round the corner,
we all seem cornered
by the flying propaganda
and the winged slanderous libels.
characters ruthlessly smeared
in the stinking mud of newspapers
by opposition parties,
who recklessly wield opposition media
same way the Boko-haram insurgents
unabashedly wield violence in a Nation
where a failed government,
has no face to bury in shame.

Fairly used Love - a poem
How can you stare me in the face blatantly
and lie so confidently.
How can you say yes so soon
and double back so quickly.
How can you french kiss 2 minutes
and already gossiping in 5 minutes.
How can you promise to catch a grenade,
yet lie here fatally wounded by cupid.

Mosquitoes - a poem
Power went off!
darkness in its starkness
overthrew the dying fluorescent.
the fan stopped its revolution.
An eerie quiet ensued.
My 5 inches phone screen
floods its white lights
on my face.
gradually, the insects,
the moths and the mosquitoes
found their way to this small light.
Soon, the mosquitoes started inserting
their proboscis,
and the moths practised an incoherent
dance on my face.
I lit the insect repellant incense,
we inhale,
man and insects alike,
they to their death,
I to my ill-health.

ERHABOR CYNTHIA
Number 12 on the class list is Erhabor Cynthia, a light-skinned beauty all the way from Edo state. Average height, beautiful face, confident voice and very social in nature, Cynthia is a very good friend and gisting partner whenever the need for gossip arises. Also known as 'don't touch my body', her high level of morality and if i dare say, chastity, does not condone any form of conscious or accidental contact with either her mammary glands or her 'behind'. If she ever catches you in this act, then all hell would be let loose, infarct that is the most effective way of wiping of a smile on her face.
Also on the
FALUJO KEHINDE
Yes! As the name implies and as you may have forgotten to realize, he has a twin brother, that's exactly why his name is Kehinde.
Kenny as we all preferred to call him is a rather handome, focused, honest and modest young man. However the bulk of his charm lies in his Simplicity, especially with regards to dressing and appearance.
surely, one of the most uncommon sites on earth is to see kenny putting on a pair of Shoes, infarct one has a higher chance of witnessing an eclipse than seeing kenny putting on shoes. He prefers

IHEANETU CHIOMA
Although i prefer to call her Mumcy because of her advancement in age and the fact that indeed she has her own Children, most of whom are grown ups, Madam Chioma is a highly motivated Woman, whose quest for knowledge and probably an advancement in social status led her to study in the Univeristy even when most people in her age bracket would resent to do so.
Mumcy was the Course representative or Class governor for 3 out of the 4 years we spent in School. Although like every other leader else where, she was criticized and nearly crucified by some revolutionary elements in the Class, what is however unarguable is that she also deserve to be commended for taking up such a responsibility willingly, even when she could have easily reneged from doing so in favour of her other more pressing and financially rewarding responsibilities both to her family and business.
Unexpectedly for her age, she had a good rapport with practically everyone in the class. Her dress sense was even better off than some younger folks, even as her immense interest in the acquisition of knowledge and education cannot be described by mere words. Infarct her ever increasing quest for knowledge meant that she graduated with a better result than some other younger members of the class. Although this write up may seem patronising and biased, however it is
TODAY ON THE CLASS SERIES IS EGBUNA HOPE
Females are widely renowned for their love for gist and gossip, therefore it is very rare to see a woman who does not have a collection of friends and partners in crime, generally speaking, Women are very sociable people. It is somewhat strange to see a Lady who does not have a horde of friends swarming over and around her at all times, it is in the light of this truth that i present to you one of the members of this rather special specie; Hope.
Generally inclined to keep to herself and in some cases the

This is just information, not advice, so whatever you do with it, is clearly at your discretion.

IT’S A MANS WORLD… TRUTH OR CONSPIRACY?
Why are ladies allowed to post pics of themselves in bathing suits and bikinis and crop tops and sometimes like KIM K, total nude and still receive nice comments? A lot of these comments come from guys.
Why are we so wrapped around their fingers that we usually can’t see beyond the booty and tits they are always waving at us to keep our attention?

CLASS SERIES CONTINUES TODAY WITH - AKACHUKWU CHIEDU
The person under review today is rather a complex being, yet simple in his complexity, he is also a disciplined individual, yet flexible in his rigidity. A stingy person by nature, yet cheerful in his giving. A box load of contrasts and ironies. Suffice to say, his reactions are not automated, they are dynamic reactions, tailored to the particular situation at any given point in time and also depending on the individual involved and the person's relationship with Him. It is rather complex how Chiedu can be very reserved a times and in the very next minute blooming with radiance like the rising Sun.
Yes, i know it seems rather like a strange way to start this, but then there couldn't have been a better way. It is no secret that many people exude confidence, although most of them are not borne from inner assurance or presence of any significant value to either society and mankind. Many people are just confident of the fact that their Naira bet ticket is 'Sure', others are confident of their looks and once their appearance is questioned, their confidence comes crashing to the

I had told her to buy a bucket of grilled chicken and ice cream.
That ice cream is what will make the work faster sef. Just watch daddy Chris work.
I was at the door immediately she knocked. I opened the door to see my pretty girlfriend looking more beautiful than I remembered. Casual clothes, white teeth and a pretty face. I hugged her first then kissed her as I ushered her in.

Unlike some of his very professional poems, in this poem, Dipe 'Shane' Oluwatobi, finally stooped low for we laymen to understand! Great Poetry!
The Centre Of the Cosmic Balance
In the centre of the cosmic balance,
Humanity stands,
Heralded as the king
Of the universe.
An ill-fated battle
Rages on
Between the past, and the present.
The present and the future.
Humanity has pitted both ideas
Against one and all.
Tell us the story of your life,
Marked by tears like the August rain,
With bouts of sunshine.
Then shall I tell you mine.
When fear smiled through mine eyes.
The fear of the known.
The fear of the unknown.
The present revels in wisdom,
But lacks the courage of the future.
Walk with us now,
On this bright dawn of companionship,
Let us explore new horizons.
So, together
We searched.
High in the sky
Far on the earth
Deep in the sea.
For wisdom dictated our paths,
And with courage, we forged on.
The present was decided by the past,
And the future shall be written
By the present.
The battle cannot be won by one.
Imagine, if they were allies,
Then victory shall be won by all.
And the centre of the cosmic balance,
Shall be preserved for posterity.
See how the poem came to be " That's one poem my baby sister asked me to do for her, about youth vs experience." -Tobi
