CLASS SERIES CONTINUES TODAY WITH - AKACHUKWU CHIEDU

AKACHUKWU CHIEDU - 09

The person under review today is rather a complex being, yet simple in his complexity, he is also a disciplined individual, yet flexible in his rigidity. A stingy person by nature, yet cheerful in his giving. A box load of contrasts and ironies. Suffice to say, his reactions are not automated, they are dynamic reactions, tailored to the particular situation at any given point in time and also depending on the  individual involved and the person's relationship with Him. It is rather complex how Chiedu can be very reserved a times and in the very next minute blooming with radiance like the rising Sun.

Yes, i know it seems rather like a strange way to start this, but then there couldn't have been a better way. It is no secret that many people exude confidence, although most of them are not borne from inner assurance or presence of any significant value to either society and mankind. Many people are just confident of the fact that their Naira bet ticket is 'Sure', others are confident of their looks and once their appearance is questioned, their confidence comes crashing to the
ground like the wall of Jericho. Chiedu or Kaka as most of us called him, has an inner confidence, borne both out of good looks and verbal eloquence, a confident radiating from an in borne intelligence and a highly creative mind, an intelligence which is the product of years of engaging actively in productive and value adding activities, a bullet-proof confidence. From his carriage and his voice, he conveys attention and maybe respect, from mainly strangers and passers-bye, but Just like the Biblical Jesus who his fellow Jews took for granted, most of us who were Kaka's course mates tended to view him like a big loud drum, dictating facts and imposing opinions with a thick strong voice, even though in actuality, this is a very poor picture of him as he is in all ramifications a perfect Gentleman, an ardent listener and a Logical debater.

From the outset we were friends, he never bothered with hostel accommodation, so we usually spent hours in between classes over at my hostel room, where we usually talked and argued and ate, and  a couple of times, snubbed the next class. However midway into our four-year sojourn in school, Kaka went Rogue, he cut his visits by 80% and another 70% of the time, he was barely available for a chat, thus i moved down on the friends list and 'Mumsy' got a promotion at the same time.
Well, Kaka told us he was a model, a script writer, an Actor, and a gym enthusiast, however only the latter claim can i testify to, although i do not doubt the veracity of the other claims.

Finally in a rather conclusive manner, Kaka had a friendly relations with almost everyone in the Class, he is a very nice and approachable individual, with great test scores and even a more radiant future. Once he even wrote me a poem title 'one door closes for another to close' i and Paul had the laugh of our lives after reading the poem. I am Glad i met the Young Lad, and even though we tend to take the opposite sides of an argument, he has proven himself a worthy opponent and a true friend. As i drop my pen, I leave him at the hands of a blissful and success-filled future.
