However the type of spam i'm talking about is the one where you don't just want to be noticed, but instead negotiating exchange of favours with other parties, especially through the use of hashtags like #like4like, #follow4follow #sfs and so on. Inasmuch as these have their good side, there is however no guarantee that the other party would reciprocate, so just do it and hope for the best.

6. Following to Unfollow: the tag 'don't follow to unfollow' has become a standard warning sign on Instagram. When you follow people just to unfollow them later, they too would go back, find you and unfollow you. Its that simple.
