Firstly, i must confess that i have no technical knowledge about music, movies or any other thing at that. I actually know a lot of Bible verses, just so you don't confuse my evaluation for that of a professional critic. But what exactly was Wizkid, Chris Brown, Trey songz and french Montana smoking when they made that mind blowing 'shabba' song? by the way Wizkid and Tinie did a great job on the, 'Mamacita' track. Indeed, 'i like their style!' especially Tinnie's rap. But what exactly was wizkid and his oyinbo friends thinking when they wrote and recorded that 'shabba' song?
like seriously, the song was a sheer waste of data, i wont complain about the time i spent listening to it since i was busy checking out some hilarious tweets at the same time. what a sad comedy, reading hilarious tweets and having wizkid and his oyinbo friends impair my ability to laugh. To worsen the whole situation, i opened my browser some twelve hours later and the 'shabba' link on notjustok automatically started re-downloading, before i could say jack, the download was complete, courtesy of 'Glo' my able network provider (na dat kind time Glo network dey strong, rubbish!). Holdup a bit, i really cant recall what exactly is wrong with the shabba song again o, give me a second, i want to play it one more time, just for the benefit of doubt.
I'm dead! the intro just killed me! i dont have anything to tell those oyinbo boys screaming 'OOoooo' in the background. But where on earth did wizkid get that chorus, i mean when did he get this awful with choruses??? rewind! did someone just say "put the deek on the body ya"? oh my Goodness!whose body?? someone needs to re-write the whole lyrics, i mean the whole damn 'deek, body, beaches and holes' lyrics, and please can Wizkid just stop screaming 'some like shabba'.
Wizkid i know you're an awesome artiste, but please next time, dont smoke 'Amerika igbo' before writing your lyrics, as a matter of fact dont even inhale the one Chris brown is puffing. You can 'high' before you 'enta' the studio to record oo, but please for the sake of your fans who cant just stop loving you, dont smoke 'Amerika igbo' before writing again! instead carry 'Nigeria Igbo' from Shitta or shrine (sha no let them nab you for airport cos Baba dey find scape goats anyhow).
I know the real Wizkid fans would love 'Shabba' but agree with me, not as much as any track on that 'Superstar' album. Damn! before i continue my crucifixion, i'd really want to know what exactly is 'shabba'?
Disclaimer: i'm only crucifying the song and the Oyinbo boys that influenced Wizkid. I can never crucify Baba nla' himself na, ever! when i never craze finish.
