Beautiful, cheerful and free spirited, She is the definition of a perfect sweet heart, one who would never let herself be weighed down under the burden of stress, unnecessary strictness or fake religiosity. Lolade was the perfect example of what every modern day young lady should be; classy, responsible, charming yet responsible.
Upon first sight, Lola is a beautiful young woman by all standards, till today, i have always been
endeared, not just to her quaint dimples, but even more by the three little lines, birthmarks which were on her lower jaw. Unlike some other people whose birth makes made them unattractive, Lola's lent her more charm and allure, effectively distinguishing her from any other. For her, the birthmark was as a secret ingredient which was applied in the right quantity and just enough to lend her beauty a distinct charm and angle.
Another distinguishing feature of Lola was her exquisite smile. Her face was constantly wearing an expression of happiness and whenever she decided to actually flash her 32 set of white ceramics, her smile was usually so genuine that it radiated enough warmth to melt a bucket-full of ice.
If the saying 'show me your friends and i'd show you who you are' is anything to go by, the Lola's choice of friendship is also laudable, and even more commendable is her commitment to friendship, even as she practically maintained a permanent set of friends through her four year sojourn in UNILAG.
On a more personal note, i and Lola were friends for no reason at all, i can neither remember how we go to where we are or when. What I'm sure of however is that she was my first Unilag crush. I appreciate our friendship and hope someday she achieves her dreams, ambitions and even more.
