My Love for Falz the Bad Guys & Simi

So all of a sudden this guy appeared on the Nigerian music scene screaming or rather singing 'ello bae', before we could say jack, the slang 'ello bae' had already spread like wildfire, everywhere on the streets of Lagos was filled with young Men 'ello bae(ing)' every other lady in their line of sight. Some may have known the originator of the slang, but others may have followed the trail in ignorance, the exact way we all follow random people on social networks, followership is easy sha.

Then one girl dropped 'jamb question', lawd! What a jam it was, what a jam it still is! Everyone jumped on the 'jamb question' bandwagon, although the slang was a common one before the song was released, however, prior to this time, no song had so portrayed the slang in such a hilarious but educative manner. So within a short time span, the song was toping many song charts in the Country. Her voice so smooth and soothing just filters out of your speakers/headphones and just calms all your restiveness. We were all curious to uncover whoever owned that 'jamb question' voice. I knew she was going to be pretty (sometimes you already know one's looks from some little things like the sound of their voice, their handwriting or even the way they walk). Well, when she finally dropped the visuals to the song, lo and behold, it was just one small 'fine gelz' ( in falz voice). Truth be told, the impact of the song was far taller than any physical height our dear Simi can ever reach.

So Falz the bad guys a.k.a the Ello Bae crooner just released a brand new album. Even before the album release, i knew it was bound to be a chart-topping Album, c'mon its Falz the bad guy na. He is way too intelligent and humorous to drop anything that would flop, ahn ahn did you even take a look at his lines in 'celebrity girlfriend' where he featured Reekado noni. Anyways, the Album just dropped less than a month ago, but apart from the previously released tracks, I've just heard another two others. One of which is 'clap' featuring the Alaga Ibile himself; Reminisce. The other track is 'Soldier' featuring no other person than the honey voice of SIMI. Yes Simi!

See you may not understand, true this Simi babe may be a new comer o, but she is what we have been missing all these years. Have you ever been in a very 'sweet' relationship that you start wondering why you were just meeting the person out of all the years of your life? Yes, that's the sort of feeling Simi is giving us. Like seriously, where have she been all these years, with that honey-laced, soothing and warming voice. I'm sure if Simi ever took praise and worship in your Church, (bone Gospel/secular categorisation of artistes) miracles would happen o, because whom God has blessed, Him don bless am o.

Anyways right now i'm not going to attempt a review of the 'Soldier' song, but the way Simi says 'soldier go, soldier come, soldier do wetin you want, but don't fall in Love with me' is beyond me. Her voice just heads straight for the heart and like a soothing ointment gladdens the heart, her voice doesn't beg for attention, it just forcefully grabs your attention and then gives it a ViP treatment. Anyways our gentle Simi sha cursed in the song o, can't wait to see how she would flip her hair at Falz and scream 'your father, i say your father' in his face when the visuals to the song is released.
For now, i'd drop my pen and duff my heart to falz the bad guyz who also doubles as a 'General in his Army'.
